Catapulted from his press button switchblade patent in 1892, George Schrade embarked on a journey that would eventually lead to one of the most iconic knife brands ever. Schrade knives are rooted in history, seeing the turn of a century (twice!), the Industrial Revolution, a great depression, 2 world wars and a man on the moon. During this time, knife companies have come and gone, but Schrade has held strong.
